They are seeking an experienced and motivated Architectural Designer / Project Manager to lead projects from concept through construction, overseeing design development, documentation, and client communication.

Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day management of architectural projects
Oversee design development, construction documentation, permitting, and coordination with consultants
Manage project schedules, client communication, and internal workflows
Conduct quality control reviews to ensure design integrity and code compliance
Mentor and supervise junior staff members
Coordinate with consultants, including structural, MEP, lighting, acoustic, and expediting teams
Collaborate closely with firm leadership to execute design strategies
Qualification
Required
3–8+ years of experience in an architectural office, with a strong focus on NYC-based projects
Demonstrated experience managing mid-to-large scale projects from schematic design through construction
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Solid knowledge of NYC Building Code, Zoning Resolution, ADA standards, and energy codes
Familiarity with NYC DOB procedures, including DOB NOW filings
Bachelor's degree in Architecture required
Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work
Preferred
Master's degree in Architecture
