PPG is a leading company in innovation and sustainability, seeking a proactive 3rd Shift Color Lab Service Technician for their Delaware, Ohio plant. The role involves managing the upkeep of the color lab during the night shift, ensuring operations are ready for the morning team by performing cleaning, restocking supplies, and conducting maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment and workspaces to guarantee a safe and organized environment for the morning shift

Restock lab materials and supplies to prepare for the upcoming day's operations

Conduct filter changes and clean equipment according to established protocols to maintain performance

Monitor inventory levels of lab materials and communicate needs to the team members to ensure readiness for the morning shift

Help prepare color samples and formulations, supporting the Refinish Color Matching team for the next day's activities

Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all laboratory activities

Required

Highschool diploma or GED

Candidate will need to work on first shift (6:00am-2:30pm) or second shift (2:00pm-10:30pm) for training purposes before switching to third shift
