7+ years expe-Zest – An Accion Labs Company is seeking a Senior Software Service Engineer who will be responsible for delivering, deploying, and supporting advanced software and container-based solutions. This role involves leading complex customer engagements, providing architectural guidance, and ensuring successful customer adoption through collaboration with various teams.

Responsibilities
Lead delivery of end-to-end software and platform implementations in customer environments using a consultative approach
Install, configure, and validate based on customer technical and operational requirements
Drive application containerization initiatives , enabling migration from legacy systems to modern Kubernetes-based platforms
Execute and lead proof-of-concepts (POCs), demonstrations, beta programs, and feature rollouts
Provide advanced technical training on: Kubernetes and container architecture, Docker
Groundwork monitoring and integrations
Partner with Sales and Services teams to define Statements of Work (SOWs) , scope, success metrics, and delivery timelines
Own customer communication throughout the engagement, providing regular status updates, risk management, and resolution tracking
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across:
Kubernetes clusters and workloads
Container runtime and orchestration layers
Networking configurations
Storage subsystems
Groundwork monitoring integrations
Apply deep technical expertise in Linux, networking, and storage to design and implement scalable, resilient solutions
Collaborate with Engineering on escalations, defect analysis, and continuous product improvement driven by customer feedback
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal best practices and documentation
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in software services, professional services, or customer-facing engineering roles
Strong hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)
Advanced expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container platforms
OpenShift 4.x
Containerized application deployment and troubleshooting
Networking fundamentals: subnetting, VLANs (802.1q), SDN concepts, SR-IOV
Storage technologies: SAN, NAS, NVMe, iSCSI
Experience building Docker images and managing container pipelines
Experience with Groundwork (monitoring, observability, or integrations)
Strong project ownership skills, including managing timelines, milestones, and customer communication
Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP, including hybrid and multi-cloud architectures
Ability to work independently in complex customer environments
Willingness to travel up to 50%
