Chief Engineer, Drivetrain Couplings & Accessories
Metso is an industry leader in sustainable technologies, and they are seeking a Chief Engineer to join their Gearbox and Drivetrain Technology team. This role involves defining and executing the technical strategy for couplings and accessories, leading innovation, and ensuring world-class performance in drivetrain systems.

Responsibilities
Define and execute the technical roadmap for couplings and accessories
Lead design, analysis, and validation of coupling systems
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in product design and sustainability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer projects and deliver technical expertise
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in drivetrain systems
Mentor and guide engineering teams to achieve technical excellence
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
10+ years of experience in drivetrain systems, couplings, or power transmission
Strong knowledge of mechanical design, dynamics, and material science
Proven leadership experience in engineering teams and complex projects
Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Proficiency in CAD and simulation tools
