The role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures and operating imaging equipment under the direction of a Radiologist and the Director of Imaging.

Responsibilities

Performs technical duties required in a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures and ultrasound guided invasive procedures
Operates imaging equipment in compliance with manufacture specifications
Follows protocols for Imaging physician ordered exams

Qualification

Ultrasound TechnologyARDMS CertificationVascular Certification (RVT)BLS CertificationBasic Computer Skills

Required

Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology Program
Registered by the ARDMS in either abdomen or OB
Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International
American Heart Association BLS certification
Must be RVT certified within a year of employment in this position
Basic computer skills

Preferred

2 years' experience in ultrasound imaging
Certified in Vascular (RVT)
Breast Ultrasound experience
Breast Registry ARDMS
