Responsible for most phases of forest land management at the project level, ensuring that all proposed activities meet applicable Tribal, Federal and State regulations and laws
Manage projects of a moderate to highly complex nature, often controversial, with numerous conflicting social, political and biological factors

Required

A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry, Forest Management or related Natural Resource Degree related to Restoration Ecology
Possession of a valid Montana Driver's License
Must be able to qualify for a Bureau of Indian Affairs Motor Vehicle Operator license
Physical exam and/or pack test for fire activities as required by government regulations
Must possess or be able to obtain pesticide applicators license

Preferred

A Masters degree and/or three (3) years' experience
Working or research in high elevation forest including Whitebark Pine stands
