They are seeking an Entry Level Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to assist with construction project oversight, ensuring compliance with contract documents, and supporting team members.

Responsibilities

Assist with planning, scheduling and coordinating work throughout the various phases of the project. May be responsible for a portion of a large project or the entirety of a small to medium size project

Read and interpret construction documents such as drawings, specifications, geotechnical reports, testing and inspection reports, maps, aerial photography, topographical surveys etc

Monitor project progress to ensure work is being provided in accordance with contract plans and specifications

Prepare reports and logs such as inspector daily reports, review, submittals, RFI’s, etc. and make recommendations on appropriateness

Assist with reviewing construction cost budgets and estimates

Assist in the assembling of documents for advertisement and procurement activities

Manage project sub-consultants and in-house support disciplines

Assist in preparation of proposals as required

Attend various meetings, record and distribute meeting minutes

Communicate and coordinate with team members to ensure project completion by the defined milestones and established quality guidelines

Perform other related duties as assigned
