Service Desk II Technical Support

ASG Information Technologies is a recognized MSP in Connecticut that is expanding its technical team. They are seeking individuals with solid technical and communication skills to provide desktop and remote support services in Microsoft Windows environments.

Responsibilities

Minimum 3 years experience as a help desk technician or Field Service Technician supporting Windows operating systems and apps
Experience supporting users in a Microsoft Windows environment
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Customer-oriented and composed under pressure
Ownership of assigned tasks
Coordination of service via phone, email using our PSA system
Being able to adapt and learn quickly
Ability and desire to develop relationships with clients and internal staff
Follow process and identify possible improvements
Time management skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge and experience with networking principles (entry level)

Required

Minimum 3 years experience in Windows service roles, preferable in relation to systems administration and support
A stable work history is required
Professional experience providing desktop or remote level support services in Microsoft Windows-based network environments
Proficient with Windows desktop operating systems
Experience with Windows Server environments and the Microsoft 365 platform
High school diploma required
Minimum 3 years experience as a help desk technician or Field Service Technician supporting Windows operating systems and apps
Experience supporting users in a Microsoft Windows environment
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

Microsoft and Comptia certifications are preferable and move candidates to the front of the line
Knowledge of Google Workspace, Cisco, and HP solutions are also helpful
Candidates should have proven skill levels as demonstrated by certifications which may include: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, MCP etc
Higher level degree and/or certs desired
