Responsibilities

Assist with design and engineering tasks focused on fall protection systems and related structural solutions
Perform routine structural engineering assignments under close supervision, using established standards, procedures, and drawings in accordance with industry best practices
Gain exposure to the full design process, including both office-based planning and documentation as well as field-based assessment and support
Collaborate with engineering and project teams to support technical design efforts, calculations, and documentation
Contribute to engineering reports, sketches, and CAD/BIM drawings under the guidance of senior staff

Required

Currently enrolled in a Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering program at an accredited university
Must be entering junior or senior year of undergraduate studies at the time of the co-op
U.S. citizenship
Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer
Capable of lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally
Must be able to navigate uneven terrain, ladders, and scaffolding as part of site visits

Preferred

Prior academic or internship experience with structural design projects
Familiarity with structural design software is required; experience with Revit is strongly preferred
Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as needed
