The Producer will be responsible for driving new business into the firm by building and managing relationships with retail insurance agents, while coordinating internally and with carriers to place specialty risks.

Responsibilities

Prospect, recruit and manage independent retail agents and broker partners
Become the go-to resource for those agents on specialty placements
Educate agents on carrier access, binding authority, programs and niches (professional lines)
Identify opportunities for Professional Liability (E&O, D&O, Cyber etc.)
Retain agent relationships year over year

Qualification

Wholesale brokerage experienceSpecialty underwritingBrokerage knowledgeRelationship managementProfessional Liability knowledge

Required

Experience in wholesale brokerage, MGA, or specialty underwriting
Understanding of brokerage vs. binding authority placements
Demonstrated success in building and maintaining retail agent relationships
