They are seeking a Senior Accountant to take ownership of multi-state and cross-border tax exposure, manage compliance, and work closely with finance leadership to support the business through a digital finance transformation.

Responsibilities
Own and manage multi-state U.S. tax exposure, including payroll, sales/use, and income tax considerations
Support U.S.βCanada cross-border tax matters, including entity structure and compliance coordination
Identify and assess nexus and payroll tax risk as the workforce and operations expand
Act as the primary internal tax partner to external CPAs and advisors, challenging assumptions where needed
Partner with finance leadership on tax forecasting, risk assessment, and scenario planning
Support the business through an ongoing digital finance transformation, including system improvements and process automation
Proactively monitor regulatory changes and translate them into practical business guidance
Help establish scalable tax processes suitable for a growing, multi-entity organization
Qualification
Required
Hands-on tax expertise in multi-state and cross-border tax exposure
Experience with payroll tax, nexus, and state/provincial compliance
Ability to work closely with finance leadership and external advisors
Proactive and commercially aware mindset
Experience in tax forecasting, risk assessment, and scenario planning
Ability to monitor regulatory changes and provide practical business guidance
Experience in establishing scalable tax processes for multi-entity organizations
