They are seeking a full-time Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Inspector to conduct field and laboratory testing of construction materials and collaborate with clients and engineering teams.

Responsibilities
Field and laboratory testing of construction materials
Maintaining required certifications
Coordinating with clients and Certerra/Insight Group engineering and professional state
Travel to client facilities as needed
Report writing and computer skills
Provides clear documentation of findings and results
Performs basic analysis of data to verify accuracy before communication and submittal to the Project Manager
Communicates information to Project Manager and other personnel as directed by the PM
Assists higher level technicians on complex tasks
Maintains assigned equipment and related calibration
Follows safety rules and practices and other safety requirements for all projects
Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects
Qualification
Required
A strong safety focus and attention to detail
Excellent plan reading skills
A demonstrated math and technical aptitude
Flexibility to work extended or non-traditional hours as needed
Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
State DOT certifications, and/or NICET certifications
ACI Concrete Field-Testing Certification (Required)
2-5+ years of construction materials testing experience
A High School diploma or equivalent
A valid driver's license
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and walking as needed during safety inspections and training sessions
The ability to lift 50-75 pounds
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Preferred
ICC Concrete and Soils Certifications preferred or must be willing to get within 1 year
