Responsibilities
Develop deep understanding of Public Storage’s business in support of cross-functional corporate teams and strategies
Partner with senior leadership to identify and execute opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and growth
Serve as liaison between executive leadership, internal teams, and external partners
Foster strong relationships with internal teams including operations, technology, and property acquisitions and development
Identify and manage external partnerships with industry and non-industry participants, VC firms, and proptech innovators
Identify, create, and present business cases for new initiatives and partnerships to executive leadership team
Develop strategies and project plans for initiatives, including objectives, timelines, resources, KPIs, and ROI estimates
Manage project milestones in conjunction with internal and external teams
Track initiative and partnership performance, identifying and remediating issues while leveraging successes
Communicate ongoing progress and findings to stakeholders at various levels
Serve as a positive ambassador of the Public Storage brand, both internally and externally
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
7+ years related experience, including corporate strategy, corporate development, program management, or related fields
Proven ability to lead initiatives with significant business impact
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Excellent Microsoft Office skills with a focus on Excel, PowerPoint
Strength of character and ability to communicate with internal and external colleagues at all levels through excellent analytical, verbal, written, and broader interpersonal skills
Highly motivated and organized with the ability to learn and work independently and collaboratively
Strong work ethic and ability to support multiple projects in parallel and prioritize competing demands under the pressure of time-sensitive deadlines
Preferred
Track record of success in enhancing corporate performance through internal and external strategic initiatives and partnerships
Experience in identifying, analyzing, underwriting, and developing business cases for potential opportunities
Additional skills with Tableau, SQL, and Python
