Manager, Due Diligence Strategy
KPMG is a leading firm in the Advisory practice, currently experiencing rapid growth and high client demand. They are seeking a Manager to lead strategy engagements focused on business due diligence and performance improvement for corporate and private equity clients, while also managing project teams and fostering professional development.

Responsibilities
Lead enterprise-wide Strategy engagements in business due diligence and performance improvement initiatives across corporate and private equity clients
Act as the day-to-day, full-time project manager to help ensure successful problem formulation, hypotheses generation, comprehensive analysis, testing hypotheses, and problem resolution
Provide oversight of highly skilled KPMG work teams throughout the project lifecycle and serve as the primary team interface with various levels of executives/team members including setting scopes, budgets, staffing resources, generating information/data requests, leading client workshops, coordinating final deliverables and presentation of results
Create value-add insights that tie to the clients strategic and financial ambitions, including identifying the underlying value proposition and challenging the clients investment thesis through structured data analyses to identify operational risks, efficiencies, or other opportunities
Support professional development of KPMG team members
Qualification
Required
Minimum of five years external consulting experience in a client-facing strategy discipline at a Big 4 firm, major strategy firm, or a boutique strategy firm, with a focus on private equity due diligence, operational due diligence, and performance improvement
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, or other related field
Experience helping global corporations and/or private equity firms conduct thorough analysis of potential acquisition targets, including assessing and executing operational due diligence and performance improvements
Solid experience in project/program management, strategic cost management, operational improvement, customer profitability, discount optimization, organizational restructuring, change management and/or corporate turnarounds
Strong business acumen with deep analytical/problem solving skills and the ability to understand how business model decisions impact operating model design/execution across operations, technology, and organizational design
Ability and willingness to travel as necessary
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred
Additional relevant work experience, ideally within M&A Operations for a private equity or Fortune 100 firm is preferred
Masters degree in Business Administration from an accredited college/university is preferred
