Responsibilities
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, including invoice review, data entry, and tracking payments
Support preparation of basic financial reports and internal summaries
Assist with general ledger maintenance and reconciliation activities, including bank and credit card reconciliations
Enter and verify financial data in accounting systems with a high degree of accuracy
Support month-end and year-end closing activities under supervision
Assist with payroll documentation and employee expense reimbursements
Provide support for audits, tax filings, and compliance documentation as needed
Respond to internal accounting-related inquiries in a professional and timely manner, including bilingual communication when required
Assist in identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency
Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Fluency in English and Korean, both written and verbal
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to learn and ability to work effectively in a team environment
The ideal candidate for this role will have authorization to work in the US
Preferred
Prior internship, coursework, or part-time experience in accounting or finance
Exposure to accounting software or ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
Experience supporting multi-entity or corporate accounting environments
Interest in pursuing a long-term career in accounting or finance
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured environment
