Responsibilities

Administer and configure the ServiceNow platform including user interfaces, workflows, reporting, integrations, etc

Develop new applications, components, interfaces, workflows and automations within the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, REST API, and web services

Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions

Create documentation for new and existing solutions including application architecture, data flows, technical designs etc

Manage platform upgrades, patching, and performance tuning

Monitor system health and proactively address issues to ensure high availability and reliability

Establish and enforce platform standards, development guidelines, and governance models

Stay current with ServiceNow releases and emerging capabilities

Identify opportunities to enhance user experience and streamline workflows through automation and AI

Required

7+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform engineering in a large enterprise environment

Proven expertise in multiple ServiceNow modules and custom application development

Strong understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise architecture principles

Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) required; additional certifications (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD) are a plus

Experience in financial services or other regulated industries

Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) and integration with ServiceNow

Familiarity with scripting and IaC languages (JavaScript, GlideScript, Powershell, Terraform) and web technologies (HTML, CSS)

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
