Responsibilities
Participate fully and contribute effectively to project teams, including:
Process design and development
Materials testing
Preparation of specifications
Process capability studies
Report preparation
Process/test documentation
Independently plan and schedule activities to meet project timelines
Design and coordinate standard engineering tests and experiments
Design, procure, and fabricate tooling and fixtures
Troubleshoot new product and process issues related to design, materials, or processes
Summarize, analyze, and draw conclusions from test results
Prepare standard reports and documentation to communicate results to the technical community
Maintain responsibility for engineering documentation
Invent and develop concepts and designs for new products or processes; submit idea disclosures
Provide training or work direction to technicians as needed
Collaborate with R&D, quality, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical, and marketing teams to ensure project success
Demonstrate PDP/TPD system knowledge through delivery of high‑quality project deliverables
Build quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with all applicable quality requirements
Qualification
Required
2–4 years with a BS degree
0–2 years with an MS degree
Degree Areas: Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or Biomedical Engineering
Candidates must demonstrate competency in current systems they have used
Strong problem‑solving abilities
Effective communication skills
Initiative and willingness to take on new challenges
Preferred
Experience with Windchill
