Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines and data architectures
Ingest, transform, and store large, complex data sets using modern ETL/ELT processes
Support data warehousing and data lake environments across cloud platforms
Partner with analytics, data science, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability across data platforms
Conduct independent research and analysis to evaluate tools, technologies, and approaches
Maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive and proprietary information
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in one or more scripting, analysis, or ETL languages (e.g., SQL, Python) with the ability to rapidly learn new tools and techniques
Experience working with large data sets and modern data platforms, including Big Data, cloud, and streaming services
Knowledge of data warehousing and data lake technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, or similar platforms
Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, or MapReduce
Experience with data visualization tools such as Excel and Tableau
Familiarity with the core concepts and properties of major machine learning technique families
Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder relationship skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Proven capability to translate analytical requirements into actionable engineering solutions
