They are seeking a production underwriter for their Brokerage Property team to manage and grow a profitable deductible buydown insurance portfolio, emphasizing strong broker relationships and excellent service.

Responsibilities

Underwrite new and renewal accounts based on underwriting guidelines and authority granted

Provide excellent service to our broker partners

Manage production to achieve premium goals

Effectively communicates information to both internal and external customers to ensure our standards of excellence are maintained

Develop, market and maintain and enhance existing broker relationships

Initially remote, this position will move to a hybrid schedule with three in-office days per week

Required

3 years preferred underwriting or compliance experience in P&C Insurance, preferably for an E&S carrier

Demonstrated knowledge of commercial property underwriting, risk and agency management

Strong interpersonal and team building skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Ability to maintain strong internal and external business relationships

Well organized with attention to detail

B.A./B.S degree from an accredited College or University

Preferred

CPCU, AU or CIC, continuing insurance education desired
