Automotive Solutions Account Executive

They are seeking an Automotive Solutions Account Executive who can develop strong client relationships, manage automotive sales strategies, and lead the Solution Development Team to deliver competitive system proposals to clients.

Responsibilities

Ability to develop excellent automotive client relationships and earn their trust though superior problem solving and drive for results
Close major automotive system sales through a “top down” consultative selling approach. Provide best solution options for the automotive customer needs
Strong consulting and engineering understanding demonstrated through leading detailed designs, iterations and summary data analysis results
Develop system proposals that provide automotive clients a competitive advantage in their markets
Demonstrate solution knowledge through successful client presentations
Creative engineering (information and material flow), clear understanding of automotive specifications, and innovative operational solutions

Required

Past experience working on automated systems in automotive manufacturing and supporting functions
Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred)
Must live in or near Detroit, MI
Clear understanding of automotive specifications and requirements
Developing strong relationships with automotive customers
Immediately quoting simple to moderate complexity solutions
Growing to leading on moderate and high complexity solutions
Unsupervised opportunity development
Ensuring the successful implementation of secured projects
Ability to sell projects above $10M with traditional material handling equipment or a single advanced technology with oversight
Basic level of knowledge of the Bastian Solutions scope of supply and capabilities
