The Lead Echo Tech shall perform at the level of an Echo Tech II and shall be able to perform transthoracic and transesophogeal echocardiograms, echos on neonates/pediatrics, as well as participate in the sonography portion of a dobutamine stress echo
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an accredited two (2) year Cardiovascular / Echo Program
ECG certification
RDCS – Adult required, pediatric preferred
Must have five (5) years hospital experience. (Performing all Echocardiography procedures)
Must have two (2) years in lead or higher position
Must have two (2) years active pediatric experience
BLS required
