The firm is seeking a talented defense litigation mass-torts attorney to represent clients in courtroom and mediation proceedings, conduct legal research, and draft various legal documents.

Responsibilities
Represent our clients in the courtroom and mediation/arbitration proceedings
Take and defend depositions
Research various factual and legal issues and collaborate with senior attorneys about strategies
Draft memoranda, pleadings, discovery demands and responses, motions, briefs, etc
Examination of records and transactions underlying business disputes and investigations as to potential client claims
The firm requires a minimum of 1800 billable hours annually
Qualification
Required
4-7+ years' experience in litigation required
Admission to the Connecticut bar is required
Experience with Connecticut State Court and Federal Court practice required
Must have a Juris Doctorate with an ABA-accredited law school and be an active member in good standing of the bar
Preferred
Experience in complex commercial litigation and/or bankruptcy preferred
Federal or state judicial clerkship experience preferred
