Responsibilities

Serve as the primary backup for Payroll processing and related duties, ensuring accurate and timely execution of all payroll-related activities
Act as the initial point of contact for HR-related inquiries, delivering accurate interpretation of policies and procedures
Manage all aspects of new hire onboarding, including background investigations, I-9 verification, policy acknowledgements, and new hire communications
Take initiative to establish rapport with HR Business Partners to understand business needs, workforce challenges, and operational priorities
Partner with HR Business Partners on process updates, trainings, and special projects
Provide employee relations support by gathering information, documenting concerns, and escalating to HRBPs as appropriate
Serve as the Leave Administrator for all leaves of absences, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency
Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information and ensure adherence to employment laws, company policies, and contractual obligations
Serve as the HRIS point of contact, ensuring data accuracy, troubleshooting issues, and supporting system-related tasks
Compile data, prepare summaries, and generate reports as directed to support HR decision-making and compliance audits

Required

BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent practical experience
2-4 years of Generalist experience
Strong communication, project management, problem solving and decision-making skills
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrates a high level of initiative
Strong HR systems skills

Preferred

Experience with SuccessFactors/Employee Central is a plus
