Responsibilities
Sales Prospecting & Research: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and assess client needs in both commercial and personal insurance
Networking & Outreach: Actively pursue leads through cold calling, networking, and social media, scheduling meetings to understand client needs
Presentations & Proposals: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, showcasing our products and services tailored to each potential client
Negotiating & Closing Deals: Use your expertise to negotiate favorable terms and close deals, ensuring client needs are fully met
Account Servicing: Maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
Exceed Sales Goals: Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets, contributing to the growth and revenue of the agency
Daily Tasks: Make a set number of cold calls and client calls, logging them into the operating system
Create follow-up tasks and activity logs for each client to ensure all leads are pursued
Move promising leads through the sales funnel to closing
Provide ongoing post-sale account servicing, ensuring all client needs are met
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the insurance industry
Strong knowledge of commercial and personal insurance products, marketing, and negotiation strategies
Preferred
Licensing P&C Producer license preferred
