Responsibilities
Conduct on-site surveys for builder and retail solar projects
Collect detailed field data, including:
Roof pitch, azimuth, and conditions
Electrical panels, meters, and grounding
Structural integrity and attic/rafter layouts (when accessible)
Take clear, high-quality photos following Terra’s field checklist 📸
Upload measurements, photos, and notes within 24 hours
Identify and report potential issues (roof condition, access, safety, etc.)
Coordinate with Project Managers and Engineering teams
Follow all safety protocols (ladders, roofs, PPE, electrical safety)
Maintain company tools and equipment
Qualification
Required
Basic knowledge of residential electrical systems and roof structures
Comfortable working outdoors and accessing roofs/attics
Proficient with digital tools and mobile apps
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Strong attention to detail and organization
Preferred
2+ years of experience in solar, roofing, or electrical fieldwork
OSHA 10 or 30
Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
Benefits
