This highly visible role oversees property accounting and development accounting across a large, growing multi family portfolio, playing a key role in scaling processes and supporting continued portfolio growth.

Responsibilities
Leading property and project accounting for a national multi family portfolio, including stabilized and in development assets
Overseeing month end close, financial reporting, and balance sheet integrity across multiple entities
Partnering closely with development, construction, asset management, and FP&A teams on project accounting, capitalization, and cost tracking
Ensuring consistency and accuracy in accounting policies, internal controls, and reporting standards across the portfolio
Managing, mentoring, and developing a team of property and project accountants
Supporting system optimization and process improvements as the portfolio continues to scale
Qualification
Required
CPA Required
Deep experience in multi family property accounting, ideally within a national or multi state portfolio
Strong understanding of development and project accounting, including construction in progress and capitalization
Prior experience leading teams and owning end to end accounting functions
