Responsibilities
Plan development processes and author methods; execute method development experiments as needed
Validate methods and support analytical testing delivery
Troubleshoot assays for process optimization and contribute to lab investigations
Transfer methods to validation and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure scalability and sustainability
Apply advanced domain knowledge to resolve technical inquiries and lead troubleshooting projects using root cause analysis
Mentor and train junior staff; lead technical projects of low to moderate complexity and oversee deliverables
Support maintenance and operational standards of lab equipment; participate in evaluation and validation of new instrumentation
Maintain laboratory notebooks under regulatory standards and follow all SOPs and safety requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline required
Minimum 4 years of related experience in method or assay development; LC-MS method development experience required
Strong knowledge of assay/method development principles, instrumentation, and regulatory requirements
Expertise in LC-MS method development and troubleshooting techniques
Ability to lead projects, mentor staff, and apply advanced problem-solving strategies
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain independence, and deliver projects under timeline expectations
Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
