Senior Product Manager - Data Center/Optical Transceivers (Bilingual - Mandarin)

AOI is seeking a Senior Product Manager - Data Center/Optical Transceivers to attend key workshops and conferences, while staying informed on industry trends. This role involves collaborating with Sales and RMA teams to provide technical support, gather customer feedback, and drive strategic initiatives in the data center and transceiver markets.

Responsibilities

Attending related workshops & conferences – 40%
Attend data center/transceiver related workshops of IEEE & OIF for AOI
Attend data center/transceiver related conferences OFC, GTC, and etc. for AOI
Data center FAE (Field Application Engineering) – 35%
Collaborating with Sales to approach customers and provide technical support
Gather customers’ feedback for strategic use and coordinate new projects
Working with Sales/ RMA teams to handle customer’s technical issues and RMA cases
Other duties – 15%
Research market/ technical trends and providing high-level SWOT/ QCD insights to provide business strategy proposals
Support NPI, PLM, MES implementation, ensuring smooth product lifecycle management and manufacturing system coordination
Provide backup and support to other projects and initiatives as needed

Required

Must be bilingual in English and Chinese
This role will require 50% U.S travel
Minimum of a Master's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Semiconductor Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field is required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in transceiver testing engineering
Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
Superior organizational, planning and coordination skills
Strong verbal & written communication skills

Preferred

A Project Management Professional certification is preferred
