InternSouthwest Autism Research & Resource Center is offering a Research Internship Program for students interested in gaining research experience related to autism spectrum disorder. Interns will engage in various research tasks such as data entry, literature reviews, and may have opportunities to co-author manuscripts for publication.

Gain experience similar to that of research assistants in a university social science research lab
Training in ethical research conduct
Data entry
Data collection
Observation of evidence-based and/or experimental behavioral interventions for ASD
Literature reviews
Various other administrative tasks that are critical to the research process
Qualification
Required
Must have a high school diploma and be at least 18 years of age
Current college student, current graduate student, or recent college graduate
Strong verbal and written communication, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds
Must submit to a 10-year background check
Preferred
Experience with applied settings with individuals on the autism spectrum or other developmental disability a plus
