HII-Mission Technologies is looking for a motivated individual to fill the role of Quality Assurance Engineer for their Syracuse, NY Operations. This position will have responsibility for the alignment of process & product quality for multiple programs, including but not limited to hardware, software, and sourcing/supply chain.

Responsibilities

Performs technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures

Ensure hardware, software and sourcing/supply chain quality standards are compliant with program requirements

Develop and implement Quality processes and procedures

Support First Article and In-Process Inspections

Support Product Quality investigations and initiatives

Identify, communicate, investigate, track, and provide status and solutions for any deviations/non-conformances affecting product or processes at different levels within the organization

Manage and track Corrective Action Requests (CARs), including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions

Identify root causes and associated corrective actions, evaluate process/product performance

Interact with Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and DCMA

Perform supplier and internal quality audits to verify compliance with quality standards

Support incoming and pre-shipment inspections

Required

2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience

Basic understanding in process documentation, workflow definition, and analyzing gaps

Self-motivated and driven desire to succeed with minimal direction

Ability to work both in a team and individually

Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance
