Behavior Therapist/RBT - $21/HR - $24/HR - Tucson
Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) is an internationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals with autism and their families. They are seeking Behavior Therapists to connect and include individuals with autism in various environments using principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). This role offers training opportunities and a supportive environment for professional growth.

Responsibilities
Spend their days connecting and including individuals with autism in their homes, schools, jobs and communities using the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA)
Collaborate and communicate with peers to implement treatment plans
Adopt a compassionate approach to care and adapt to meet the needs of clients
Utilize different technologies and software programs, as well as data collection applications
Qualification
Required
Registered Behavior Technician certification is required within 30 days of employment
Behavior Staff are required to have reliable transportation to/from clients with a clean driving record (no more than 3 minor violations)
Passionate about helping others succeed and thrive (experience not required — we'll pay for training and help you get certified!)
Strong collaborator and communicator who enjoys working with their peers to implement treatment plans
A compassionate approach to care with the flexibility to roll with changes to meet the needs of our clients
Always eager for knowledge, and likes to inquire, research and ask questions
Comfortable using different technologies and software programs, as well as data collection applications
Preferred
Experience in any of the following fields: Behavior Analyst, Autism, Social Learning, Social Skills, Developmental Condition, Psychology, Sociology, Social Services, Children, ABA, Behavior Therapist, Behavioral Health, Behavior Specialist, ABA Therapist, Childcare, Teacher Assistant, Teacher's aide, Preschool Teacher, SPED Paraprofessional, Youth Program Coordinator, Direct Support Professionals, Behavioral and Social Sciences, Behavioral Health Technician, Babysitting, Mental Health Specialist, Camp Counselor, Coach, Working with Children, Caregiver, Respite Care, Specialist, Therapist, Interventionist, Technician
