Responsibilities
Monitors and assures proper configuration, integration, and operation of all computer systems, data collection, equipment and associated peripheral devices in the motion analysis lab
Functions as system manager for Motion Analysis Lab computer network, establishing and maintaining network users and user environment
Assists in research activities including research design, data collection, data analysis and scientific writing
Designs and develops motion data collection and analysis hardware and software enhancements as needed
Participates in the development and implementation of clinical and research protocols
Designs and procures equipment and software to meet the needs of the department
Provides educational services, training and support to meet the needs of the department
Informs leader or designee of all patient/personal injury or unsafe situations, anticipated problems and unusual situations. Completes appropriate related documentation within 24 hours according to hospital policy
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in biomechanics, exercise physiology, exercise science or neuroscience required
5 years' experience in motion analysis field required
