Children's Program Staff
The Gathering Place is a non-profit community-based cancer center located in Cleveland, Ohio that supports, educates, and empowers individuals and families coping with the impact of cancer. They are seeking an energetic and engaging clinician to provide programs for children, teens, and families coping with cancer, involving creating innovative programming and providing support and education.
Non-profit Organization Management
Responsibilities
Create and facilitate innovative, evidence-based programming for families, children and teens impacted by cancer
Provide one-to-one and group support
Provide education to hospitals and other organizations related to children and family concerns around cancer
Represent The Gathering Place in community outreach activities
Qualification
Required
Licensure in Child Life (CCLS), Social Work (LSW/LISW), Clinical Counseling (LPC/LPCC), or related field
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365
Must have the ability to manage time, prioritize, and multi-task
Ability to navigate high-level interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Background with organizational and program planning skills. Must have the ability to effectively work and communicate with all levels throughout the Agency
Preferred
A minimum of 2 years of clinical practice related to children and experience in oncology is preferred
