Responsibilities
Own the monthly calendar : plan, schedule, and promote social, educational, fitness, arts, tech, and intergenerational programs
Lead the energy : facilitate classes/events; welcome participants; build a warm, inclusive culture
Listen & tailor : conduct brief interest check-ins; adapt activities for different abilities
Partner & recruit : engage local instructors, volunteers, and community organizations to expand offerings
Support operations : manage supplies, room setup, safety, and help with special events and fundraising
Equity & inclusion : ensure every participant feels seen, safe, and welcome
Qualification
Required
Experience planning programs for older adults (senior center, parks & rec, adult education, community arts, faith/community org)
Magnetic interpersonal skills, you greet by name, remember stories, and energize a room
Organization + follow-through: calendars, logistics, budgets, vendor coordination
Tech-comfortable: Windows, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher/PowerPoint)
Able to lift/move up to 25 lbs; frequent walking/standing; reasonable accommodations available

CPR/First Aid
Bilingual (Spanish or other)
