Responsibilities
Defending employers in individual, class, and PAGA actions
Drafting and arguing dispositive and class-related motions
Managing written discovery and e-discovery in complex cases
Taking and defending depositions, including plaintiffs and corporate witnesses
Participating in mediations, settlement strategy, and trial preparation
Advising clients on litigation risk and strategy
Qualification
Required
Experience in employment defense, wage and hour, PAGA, or class action litigation
Ability to take ownership of sophisticated matters
Strong written advocacy skills
Sound judgment
Experience in defending employers in individual, class, and PAGA actions
Experience in drafting and arguing dispositive and class-related motions
Experience in managing written discovery and e-discovery in complex cases
Experience in taking and defending depositions, including plaintiffs and corporate witnesses
Experience in participating in mediations, settlement strategy, and trial preparation
Ability to advise clients on litigation risk and strategy
Desire for mentorship and professional development
Ability to manage complex matters effectively
Strong strategic thinking skills
