Responsibilities
Administer escrow accounts, ensuring timely and accurate payment of real estate taxes, insurance premiums, and PMI/MIP
Reconcile tax payments and resolve delinquent taxes, duplicate bills, or overpayments
Manage escrow notifications to customers, including annual escrow analysis, short-year statements, and PMI termination letters in compliance with state and federal laws
Maintain accurate escrow account information in the servicing system, including account setup, deletions, rate updates, and account changes
Work with borrowers and contractors to facilitate property repairs and mortgage insurance claims
Monitor vendor relationships for insurance and real estate tax payments, ensuring timely processing
File claims and follow up with vendors as needed
Complete imaging and record retention of loan documents and other relevant files
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in loan servicing, escrow, insurance, or real estate tax administration
Solid understanding of mortgage escrow processes and real estate tax cycles
Experience managing escrow accounts and analyzing escrow data
Strong mathematical, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Familiarity with servicing systems and escrow software; MSP experience is a plus
