Responsibilities
Define financial objectives of the region and create a climate of accountability
Ensure alignment of operating and capital budgets with system’s strategies, goals, and objectives
Recruitment, development, and retention of staff
Design and implementation of financial reporting packages and high impact analytics
Compliance with standard accounting principles and legal/regulatory requirements
Coordination of the financial planning cycle and corrective action plan implementation
Business plan development
Financial oversight of joint ventures/relationships
Oversight and administration of the physician compensation plans
Continued maturation of the practice analytics program
Patient experience
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 10 years of progressive responsibility in a Finance function
5 years of formal senior level leadership experience in a healthcare industry setting
Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
Preferred
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
