LOAN DOC SPECIALIST

Responsibilities

Type and prepare note and related documentation in an accurate and efficient manner
Review loan documentation for completeness, correctness and compliance
Type and prepare modification documentation for existing loans
Performs maintenance on Suntell Doc Tracking ticklers to update all information (dates, recurrences, grace periods, etc.) needed in regard to new loan files and changes to existing loans
Prints and reviews daily Suntell audit reports of assigned branches to perform quality reviews of items maintenance by branch staff
Assist branches in error resolution
Review and assist branches with data accuracy in lending programs
Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Required

High school graduate or equivalent with previous banking experience or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of bank operations, policies and procedures
Knowledge of loan documents and loan processes
Knowledge of basic loan terminology
Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software
Skill in communicating effectively with management, customers and co-workers
Skill in customer relations
Detail Oriented and Problem-Solving abilities including basic loan math
Ability to work as a team player
Regular and reliable attendance

Preferred

Previous experience with common loan terminology
