Responsibilities
Actively participate and contribute to design and project management through engaging in design discussions, generating ideas, collaborating, and working on drawings, models, and 3D imaging formats
As a licensed design professional, you will direct non-licensed and other professionals assigned to design, produce, and coordinate the design process and technical documents
You will create graphical images and perform design and detailing tasks in Revit
You will attend project and client meetings with design professionals to explore business development opportunities
Qualification
Required
At least 10 to 15+ years of experience in architecture
Completed an accredited professional degree program with either a bachelor's or master's degree in architecture, or equivalent education and experience
Ability to manage and supervise project teams comprising architects, engineers, and designers for medium to large projects with a high degree of focus on civic and public projects
Demonstrating a high degree of critical and creative thinking related to design processes
A thorough understanding of architectural specifications, local, state and federal building codes, life safety codes, and current ADA requirements
Adept at designing with a strong understanding of building systems
Experience in designing projects of varying scale and complexity within the civic and public sectors
Self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills
Knowledge of Autodesk Revit, SpecLink, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite and AutoCad
Preferred
Knowledge of programming, planning, and building performance
