Senior Associate, Housing Investment
Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta is focused on equity and shared prosperity in the region. The Senior Associate, Housing Investment is responsible for advancing the Foundation’s housing strategy by managing capital deployment for affordable housing development and preservation.

Responsibilities
Build and manage a robust pipeline of affordable housing investments aligned to CFGA’s strategic priorities
Research community needs and sector capacity; identify opportunities to coordinate and align capital
Prepare pipeline summaries and deal memos for internal review and committees
Support due diligence and underwriting for loans and other investments; assist with investment documentation and closings
Coordinate with third-party partners, legal counsel, fund administrators, and the finance team to advance transactions
Ensure compliance with affordability goals (depth and duration) and policy requirements
Cultivate relationships with nonprofit and mission-driven developers, CDFIs, municipal partners, and community stakeholders
Represent CFGA at external meetings, collaborative working groups, and sector events; provide high-quality customer service to applicants and borrowers
Track and monitor the investment pipeline and portfolio performance; maintain accurate records in CFGA systems
Partner with internal teams to produce timely reports and dashboards on pipeline health, impact, and returns
Coordinate meetings, intake, and application processing; maintain organized documentation and version control
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve the applicant's and borrower experience
Qualification
Required
Full-time Exempt
Experience in managing a pipeline of affordable housing investments
Strong research skills to identify community needs and sector capacity
Ability to prepare pipeline summaries and deal memos for internal review and committees
Experience in supporting due diligence and underwriting for loans and other investments
Ability to assist with investment documentation and closings
Experience coordinating with third-party partners, legal counsel, fund administrators, and finance teams
Knowledge of compliance with affordability goals and policy requirements
Experience cultivating relationships with nonprofit and mission-driven developers, CDFIs, municipal partners, and community stakeholders
Ability to represent CFGA at external meetings and collaborative working groups
Strong customer service skills for applicants and borrowers
Experience tracking and monitoring investment pipeline and portfolio performance
Ability to maintain accurate records in CFGA systems
Experience partnering with internal teams to produce reports and dashboards
