Responsibilities
Develop and maintain product vision, mission, and goals aligned with operational requirements
Define and prioritize product requirements, translating operational needs into user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria
Manage and allocate resources—personnel, equipment, compute resources—to ensure products get built and delivered
Plan and coordinate product releases across development teams, testing teams, and operational stakeholders
Serve as the bridge between operators, developers, architects, and testers, ensuring everyone understands requirements and timelines
Track product development progress, identify risks early, and adapt strategy based on feedback and constraints
Communicate with operational stakeholders to ensure products meet mission needs and deliver on time
Balance technical constraints with operational requirements, understanding what's possible and what matters most
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration so products actually get finished and deployed
Build and maintain product roadmaps that connect daily work to strategic objectives
Qualification
Required
Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience managing product development lifecycle from concept through delivery
Experience defining and prioritizing product requirements and features
Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams (development, testing, architecture)
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to translate between technical and operational language
Understanding of software development processes and methodologies
Experience with resource management and release planning
Demonstrated ability to balance technical constraints with operational requirements
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management frameworks
Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS with limited notice when operations require it
Preferred
Experience managing cyber capability, CNO, or operational software products
Background in software development, testing, or technical operations
Experience using Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
Understanding of cyber operations or experience supporting national security missions
Technical background that lets you engage substantively with developers and architects
