Regional Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

Manage the given territory on behalf of the company
Promote various companies and their products or capabilities to manufacturers in a variety of markets, generally geared toward mobile equipment
Maintain and develop sales for the various companies we represent
Be proficient at using Outlook, and to a lesser extent some other Microsoft programs such as Excel and Word. Also, be savvy at using laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Ability to utilize and learn a CRM system
Report on activities and status at accounts and prospects to management at PCCCO, and more importantly to the companies we represent
Travel to see customers and prospects throughout the area after establishing appointments with contacts via phone and email
Overnight travel as required
Travel to companies we represent and certain trade shows throughout the year as necessary

Qualification

Required

Engineering Degree (is a plus but not a requirement)
Technical Sales Background
Experience in machine design is a plus
Technical background
Some level of mechanical/electrical aptitude
Ability and desire to self-motivate
Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment
Ability to manage multiple projects
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Personable and able to interact with people effortlessly
Ability to take direction and coaching and apply it through the day-to-day process of a field sales position
Willingness and comfort with driving and overnight travel
Proficient at using Outlook
Proficient at using Microsoft programs such as Excel and Word
Savvy at using laptops, tablets, and smartphones
Ability to utilize and learn a CRM system
