Information Technology Help Desk
Sierra Staffing Group is seeking an IT Help Desk Associate for a well-established Small Family Office Wealth Management company. The IT Help Desk Technician serves as the first point of contact for employees experiencing technical issues, providing timely support and troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for IT support requests
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues
Install, configure, and maintain computers, mobile devices, printers, and related equipment
Provide support for operating systems, Microsoft 365, email, VPN, and common business applications
Assist with user onboarding and offboarding, including account setup and access management
Maintain and update IT inventory and asset records
Educate users on best practices, security awareness, and basic troubleshooting
Support system updates, patches, and routine maintenance tasks
Adhere to company IT policies, procedures, and security standards
Willingness to assist in other departments and wear different hats
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
1–3 years of experience in an IT Help Desk or technical support role
Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts
Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and endpoint protection tools
