Responsibilities

Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned functional department(s), supporting employee relations, talent development, and compliance
Conduct thorough investigations into member issues including harassment, discrimination, and performance concerns. Review investigation results and follow company policies and procedures to take appropriate action
Lead and manage HR initiatives, such as talent management, succession planning, and organizational development
Provide strategic HR guidance to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives
Alongside other HRBP's and HR Leaders, develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices
Manage complex member relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations
Conduct HR audits to assess compliance with policies and procedures
Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and measure the effectiveness of HR programs
Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation
Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment
Performs other duties within scope as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with direct experience in HR business partnership supporting senior leadership. (3 years with Masters degree)
Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience or, 4 years related experience if no post-secondary education
Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance
Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position

Preferred

Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, HRCI, PHR, SPHR, or CPHR
Experience working with SAP or similar HRIS platforms
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Planner
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
