Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing high-value deals with new customers. Build strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives
Lead direct sales efforts and channel-driven initiatives, to expand reach and accelerate revenue
Lead discovery conversations to uncover customer pain points, desired outcomes, and hidden requirements, translating them into tailored solution strategies
Prepare compelling business cases, solution briefs, and presentations that frame product benefits in terms of ROI, cost savings, and strategic impact
Work closely with Channel Sales Executives to increase pipeline opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Product, and Customer Team to ensure smooth onboarding, customer satisfaction, and alignment with market needs
Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and closing, with a focus on relationship-building and customer engagement
Apply a structured sales process to align solutions with customer business initiatives
Deliver tailored demonstrations that present a compelling vision and value
Prepare and present proposals, license agreements, and statements of work. Maintain ongoing relationships with customer advocates and champions through stakeholder engagement and executive alignment
Contribute to the go-to-market strategy by sharing field insights, supporting marketing campaigns and events, and partnering internally to execute successful initiatives
Become knowledgeable on the NorthStar CCM platform in order to deliver user experience demonstrations and explain the value of the outcomes
Manage post-sale activities in coordination with Customer and Accounting teams to address customer concerns and ensure satisfaction
Meet or exceed annual sales quota targets with a consistent commitment to delivering strong results

Required

Demonstrated drive and relentless pursuit of success, consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets with extensive experience in new name direct sales
Entrepreneurial mindset with a natural hunter mentality, continuously seeking new opportunities and innovative approaches to drive business growth
Strong ownership of business decisions, with a hands-on approach and a commitment to leading by example
Persuasive communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels
Proficiency in sales tools including Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Gong, with a focus on identifying and tracking prospective customers and maintaining accurate, timely updates in Salesforce CRM
Minimum of 7+ years of demonstrated success in Customer Communications Management (CCM) platform sales
At least 5+ years of full-cycle sales experience, including selling software or cloud-based applications
Proven experience in the Software as a Service (SaaS) industry, with strong knowledge of SaaS business models, customer lifecycle management, and best practices for driving engagement and retention
Track record of leading and delivering new business growth
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
