Responsibilities
Create process description documents based on customer requirements
Use process descriptions, P&IDs, and electrical drawings to design automation system solutions
Develop PLC ladder logic applications for Allen Bradley/Rockwell Software PLC systems
Configure standalone and networked intelligent field devices (e.g., VFDs, flow meters, pressure transmitters)
Perform integration tests to ensure proper communication and HMI screen response to PLC events
Travel to customer sites for system commissioning, installation, and training
Provide technical support and system upgrades
Qualification
Required
Two- or four-year degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, IT, or Math with programming coursework
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field
Proficiency in developing ladder logic programs using Rockwell Software
Working knowledge of PC hardware and industrial automation networking
Proficient in Microsoft Office for documentation and productivity
Ability to work in a project-oriented team environment (2-10 engineers)
Ability to work independently after assignment
Desire to learn and use multiple programming languages
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Creativity, enthusiasm, and a 'can-do' attitude
