Responsibilities

Perform detailed credit analyses—including financial performance reviews, cash flow assessments, and evaluation of industry/market positioning

Develop financial projections, valuation workups, recovery analyses, and sensitivity modeling to support credit recommendations

Compare prospective borrowers to industry peers and synthesize industry trends to inform risk perspectives

Produce clear, concise, and well-supported written credit opinions with recommendations for approval, decline, or structural adjustments

Recommend risk ratings for borrowers and transactions based on quantitative and qualitative assessment

Conduct periodic portfolio reviews, including annual and quarterly assessments of assigned relationships

Participate in external meetings with syndicate partners, clients, rating agencies, legal teams, and internal partners as part of ongoing deal review and monitoring

Continuously monitor borrower-specific and sector-level indicators (e.g., equity movement, credit spreads, market signals) and escalate emerging risks to leadership

Ensure adherence to internal credit standards and act as a liaison between internal stakeholders to align on credit issues, deal structuring, and policy compliance
