Fabric Specialist
Cinq à Sept is an advanced contemporary collection brand that embodies a balance between sophistication and ease. They are seeking an experienced Fabric Specialist to work closely with mills and garment factories, ensuring that all bulk materials meet quality standards and deadlines are met.

Responsibilities
Work directly with fabric mills regarding bulk fabric quality
Review, evaluate, and approve bulk fabric submissions, including hand feel, construction, overall performance characteristics, weight, crocking, and performance tests
Identify potential quality or construction issues and collaborate with mills and garment factories to resolve them
Send bulk fabric references to garment factories in a timely manner
Work with garment vendors and communicate with mills if quality issues are detected in bulk fabric
Track all submissions to ensure they are received and approved on time
Maintain clear documentation of approvals, comments, and any required corrections
Partner with Production, Design, QC, and Factories to ensure fabric readiness
Communicate fabric issues, status, delays, or risks promptly and clearly
Create and maintain a library of standards and bulk-approved materials
Oversee core bulk fabric (repeat fabrics and colors) approvals
Manage basic trim approvals
Qualification
Required
2–4 years of experience in fabric development, quality, or sourcing
Strong technical understanding of fabric construction and quality with an understanding of Cinq à Sept's aesthetic
Experience working with mills and garment factories
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to maintain clear documentation
Effective communication skills both written and verbally
Ability to manage bulk fabric approvals, core materials, and basic trim approvals
Problem solver with a proactive mindset
Proficient in MS Office and PLM or similar systems
Preferred
Degree in Textiles, Apparel Production or related field
