BMT Program Coordinator- BMT/Apheresis Programs
Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a BMT Program Coordinator to work with the BMT team and incoming patients to find optimal donors and plan treatment. The role focuses on ensuring care continuity for patients and families, collaborating on program development and implementation.

Responsibilities
Develops, implements, and enhances special projects promoting inpatient/outpatient continuity of care and parent engagement
Ensures the provision of high quality, individualized, comprehensive, cost effective patient across the continuum
Initiates, tracks, analyzes, and manages all program quality improvement and research projects, program goals and objectives
Coordinates functions with interdisciplinary medical care, liaison functions with patient, family, medical staff, and referring physicians
Develops educational materials and programs for patients, nursing and ancillary staff, and physicians
Develops clinical protocols, policies, and procedures including community education and public relations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree, required
Registered nurse in the State of Ohio, required
Three years of registered nurse experience, required
Effective customer service skills
Good multiplatform communication skills (oral, written, presentation)
Ability to assist in conflict resolution
Problem-solving and interpersonal skills required for interaction with contacts required
Preferred
Masters Degree in Nursing, preferred
