Associate, Operational Risk & Compliance

Responsibilities
Partner closely with senior risk leaders to coordinate risk governance activities, maintain documentation, track team priorities, and support ongoing communication with key stakeholders
Assist with core compliance activities—including training execution, control testing, policy updates, and preparation for audits or regulatory exams
Support day-to-day oversight of operational risk by reviewing processes, documenting observations, escalating issues, and contributing to mitigation actions
Participate in the development and monitoring of risk appetite measures, dashboards, and ongoing reporting to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and clarity
Conduct analysis on incidents and emerging risks, helping categorize issues and identify trends across the business
Collaborate with business units to document risks, follow up on remediation activity, and maintain trackers for open issues and deadlines
Maintain high-quality records, meeting materials, and internal controls documentation to support strong governance standards
Assist with regulatory preparation by helping compile materials, coordinate submissions, and ensure alignment with supervisory expectations
Serve as a central point of coordination between the risk team, business partners, and global counterparts
Qualification
Required
Experience in operational risk and compliance activities
Ability to coordinate risk governance activities and maintain documentation
Strong communication skills to support ongoing communication with key stakeholders
Experience with core compliance activities including training execution, control testing, and policy updates
Ability to prepare for audits or regulatory exams
Experience in reviewing processes and documenting observations
Ability to escalate issues and contribute to mitigation actions
Experience in developing and monitoring risk appetite measures and dashboards
Ability to conduct analysis on incidents and emerging risks
Experience in collaborating with business units to document risks and follow up on remediation activity
Ability to maintain high-quality records and internal controls documentation
Experience in regulatory preparation and compiling materials
